VA Intent to File Due Before August 10

To be able to get retroactive payments for a disability claim, notify the VA of the intent to file before August 10, 2023. Start a disability application online and it will automatically notify the VA of the intent to file. There is no need to call or submit a separate intent to file form. Unfortunately, this does not apply to online claims for pensions or DIC (Dependency and Indemnity Compensation) benefits.
