Why We Exist

Dark Guardian is a 501(c)(3), charitable, nonprofit with the mission to support the military family, their caregivers, and veterans. We appreciate our veterans for their sacrifice, and we know that they would not be able to do what they do without the strength of their families. After the veteran’s tour of duty is done, it is their family and their caregivers who continue to support them as they acclimate to civilian life and deal with the effects of their service. Military families and caregivers are the unsung guardians in the shadow of the veteran…their Dark Guardians.
